Logitech Announces UE Air Speaker

As proof of the growth of the premium wireless/iPod speaker system, Logitech has announced its move into this space with the release of the Logitech UE Air Speaker featuring Apple’s AirPlay technology. This new speaker system allows the user to stream uncompressed music from iTunes or an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connected to a Wi-Fi network or to just dock the device and play directly . The Logitech UE speaker boasts dual tweeters and woofers but other product information is still to be revealed.

It will take about 5-6 weeks for stock to arrive in New Zealand – the RRP will be $599. For the time being though, check out this product video:
