SAMSUNG HAS ANNOUNCED two new items of “wearable technology”, the Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo.
Samsung boasts of significant improvements from the first generation of Gear products, with emphasis on their light weight, design and finish, and seamless integration with other gadgets.
The Gear 2 features a camera on the body rather than the strap and customisable fonts and clock face.
Both the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo control electronics products like televisions or set-top boxes with the WatchON app.
Similarly, both offer personal fitness coaching in real time.
And, as you would expect, the fancy time pieces will connect to and with a variety of same brand gadgets.
The Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo are expected on the shelves worldwide in April. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
