Eagles Retrospective Out In April

20017~the-eaglesEAGLES FANS WILL be raising their hands in praise, or maybe charging their glasses, with the news that a new three-disc set is to be released on April 26.
It’s called History Of The Eagles, and includes the acclaimed two-part documentary film as well as unreleased live concert footage from the Hotel California tour.
The set will be released on DVD and Blu-ray editions with both 5.1 surround and stereo audio.
There will also be a limited deluxe box set with the three discs, and a hardback book.
History Of The Eagles debuted on cable TV last month, earning the Showtime network its highest ratings for a music documentary in eight years.
Part 1 dedicates two hours to chronicling the band’s creation and rise to fame in the ’70s, through its breakup in 1980. Interviews include Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Jackson Brown, image012Linda Ronstadt, Kenny Rogers and many others.
The documentary includes unreleased home movies and archival footage.
Part 2 reveals the personal and professional struggles members faced while the band was apart, and chronicles the group’s dramatic reunion in ’94.
Eagles Live At The Capital Centre – March 1977 features previously unreleased concert performances of many of their best-known songs.
