QED uPlay Plus Bluetooth receiver

QED’s NEW uPLAY Plus (pronounced ‘yoo-play’) is a discrete wireless audio receiver, which incorporates the latest Bluecore 5 Bluetooth chipset and supports the advanced aptX audio codec.

WDF-Uplay-plusThe uPlay Plus has its own onboard low distortion DAC, which promises less than 0.035% distortion, and stereo analogue outputs, so it’s easy to connect to an existing hi-fi or home theatre system, or even to better quality iPod docks, fitted with an ‘Aux’ or optical input socket. For users seeking to maximise audio quality, the uPlay Plus has a digital optical output allowing direct connection to an amplifier or receiver with a digital input, or to a stand alone DAC. It’s designed to be a universal device supporting any Bluetooth enabled source, so the uPlay Plus switches between the standard Bluetooth SBC and aptX codecs depending on the transmission source.
