Geneva Releases WorldRadio

THE NEW GENEVA WorldRadio is a contemporary take on the classic world receiver: a radio that could receive all available radio stations using the broadcasting technologies of that era, such as FM, long, and short waves. Today however, people tune into local radio broadcasts mostly via FM, and many use smartphones and other devices to connect with literally thousands of local and international radio stations and music streaming services over the Internet.

Geneva’s WorIdRadio can receive FM radio, and can also wirelessly stream from any Bluetooth-enabled MP3 player, smartphone, tablet or laptop. Other audio sources can be connected via the 3.5 mm line input. The WorldRadio features an alarm clock and a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery to provide six hours of wireless music playback.

The high-performance amplifier and full-range loudspeakers are complemented by patented Embracing Sound DSP technologies, which allow the WorldRadio to produce a full scale sound output from the streamlined chassis. This unit is available in silver, red, or black aluminium finishes.
