Tivoli Audio Releases Model One BT with Bluetooth

October 18, 2012

TIVOLI AUDIO HAS released a new version of the iconic Model One radio with Bluetooth audio functionality, which opens this super-simple radio to the world of computer audio – users can now stream music wirelessly from their iPhone, iPad, Android or any other Bluetooth capable device.

The Model One BT features the recent A2DP profile, which is combined with the Model One BT’s custom equalization to optimise the quality of the streamed audio. There’s a Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) system implemented in the Model One BT to ensure that there’s minimal interference with other wireless devices. The Bluetooth pairing is designed to be as easy and user-friendly as possible.

There is still an aux input on board, along with record and headphone outputs, for those who want to connect wired devices. The AM/FM tuner is still very much in place.

The Model One BT is available in multiple wood veneered finishes. It’ll be on retail shelves this Christmas season at $499.
