Perreaux Audiant DP32 preamplifier with DAC now available

PERREAUX HAS ANNOUNCED the release of its new high-resolution audio preamplifier, the Audiant DP32. This new unit combines a fully balanced analogue preamplifier with an on-board 32-bit/192kHz DAC featuring asynchronous USB audio streaming.

The Audiant DP32 DAC uses ESS Technology’s flagship 32-bit Sabre³² ES9018 reference digital to analogue converter chipset, and with six digital inputs (one AES/EBU, one asynchronous USB, two coaxial & two optical) the DP32 is configured to support all modern digital audio interfaces. The DP32 also features digital re-clocking for jitter reduction, discrete shunt regulators to provide clean power, a buffered passive volume control for extremely low noise and direct coupled inputs to retain purity and tonal balance.

There are two buffered analogue inputs accommodating both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA cables, and a selectable home theatre bypass allows easy integration into any home theatre system. The DP32 continues the use of the touch panel interface first seen on Perreaux’s Audiant 80i integrated amplifier.

Covered by a five-year warranty, the Audiant DP32 is available now from Harvey Norman stores throughout New Zealand. Pricing is TBC.
