Gary SteelNZ amp brand JAVA is picking up awards and getting international rave reviews.
JAVA boss Martin Bell spent a portion of 2023 overseas attending hi-fi shows and promoting his stunning range of amps, a necessary tactic in today’s crowded marketplace.
Happily, the distinctive and highly pleasing design of the gear proved a crowd magnet. But of course, the proof is in the pudding (as my great-grandmother used to say) and memorable design features are the icing on the cake; the main event being the phenomenal sound the JAVA range is capable of. And the right people, it seems, agreed.
The JAVA Single Shot integrated amplifier (discussed here and reviewed here) has received the Diapason d’Or award by the highly regarded French institution, Diapason. This is the most prestigious award that Diapason bestows on products and is reserved for ‘the best of the best’. In fact, it’s like a Palme d’Or for hi-fi products!
