Synergy Audio Visual, one of Australia’s leading importers and distributors of premium hi-fi and home cinema products, has announced today that it will launch operations in New Zealand. The launch will be facilitated through the acquisition of several shared brands from PQ Imports, a leading distribution company based in Hamilton, New Zealand.
“Synergy Audio Visual NZ will commence operations on 1 November with the establishment of local operations including warehousing and the appointment of a local NZ Country manager”, says Synergy managing director, Philip Sawyer. “This strategic expansion allows us to deepen our commitment to existing brands and faithfully serve, support and further develop the New Zealand market.
“Synergy is excited to bring Advance Paris, MoFi Electronics, R_Volution, REL Subwoofers, Ruark Audio, GoldenEar, ViewSonic Home Cinema and Vivitek to the NZ market. These are some of the most desirable products and brands for specialist retailers, integrators and their customers.

Synergy is working to ensure a smooth transition from PQ Imports to Synergy NZ over the coming month and would like to thank partners for their patience during the transition. There is likely to be a brief delay in shipments at the point of transition while stock is transferred to the new warehouse.
