Plucky Kiwi player JAVA HI-FI wins distribution in the US and wows the natives at two well-respected hi-fi shows in the US and UK.
It’s great news week for Kiwi/Auckland boutique amplifier brand JAVA Hi-Fi, which has partnered with US company Playback for distribution in North America.
Playback Distribution is apparently a trusted name in the US and is set to leverage its extensive network and expertise to introduce JAVA HI-FI’s cutting-edge technology to a wider audience.
Says JAVA HI-FI owner Martin Bell: “We are thrilled to partner with Playback Distribution, whose reputation for excellence aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing the best audio solutions. This collaboration will enable us to reach more customers and ensure that our innovative products are readily available to audio enthusiasts across the US.”
Java joins some very big names at Playback Distribution, including Advance Paris, Amphion, Esoteric, Esprit, PMC, Quadraspire, TEAC and Vienna Acoustics.
“Java’s implementation of an LDR pre-amp stage married to GaN-FET amplification is a stunning performance result”, says Playback Distribution’s co-founder and president, Rob Standley.
When Witchdoctor caught up with JAVA HI-FI’s Martin Bell last week, he had this to report: “In other JAVA news, last weekend was a big one for JAVA Hi-Fi, with our amps heavily featured at both Capital Audiofest in Washington DC (three rooms) and the Edinburgh Hi-Fi AV Show (one room). Some great early ‘Best in Show’ notices, images and videos starting to filter through from both shows already. One early highlight was a Capital Audiofest ‘Best Sound in Show’ list from well-known audio designer Lukasz Fikus (of Lamizator fame). Out of 125 rooms at Capital Audiofest, he named his top 5 – and JAVA amps featured in 2 of them.”
