Sony Releases BRAVIA HX750 Series TVs

April 3, 2012

Sony’s new range of BRAVIA HX750 Series TVs offers Quickflix steraming, 20+ further television Internet channels, 10 million songs with Music Unlimited and a wealth of social media features, all with a new design and enhanced 2D and 3D picture quality.

Thanks to Sonyโ€™s X-Reality Picture Engine technology and Motionflow XR400 (200Hz Panel) images are smoother and more detailed than ever before. Plus, the use of Dynamic Edge LED backlighting ensures an infinite dynamic contrast ratio for punchy, vibrant colours. 3D Picture quality has also been enhanced with the Sony HX750 supporting Full HD 3D and 3D Super Resolution providing an increased feeling of depth to the experience taking viewers further into the action.

Connection to the range of network features is easy than ever with integrated Wireless LAN built-in giving the HX750 access to the Sony Entertainment Network and social media features.

Quickflix is the latest addition to the growing range of Internet TV channels available on Sony devices in New Zealand households. Complimenting the vast range of content already existing on Sony Internet TV, the new on-demand subscription movie service allows film fans to watch movies from a constantly changing and growing library of hundreds of Hollywood blockbusters.

With Sony Entertainment Network users can now select from over 20 Internet TV channels including subscription based content such as Quickflix, MUBI, Music Unlimited, Wiggle Time TV and Berliner Philharmoniker.

Further content is available for free on Sony Entertainment Network including national and world video news from Stuff, further local content channels on Ziln TV, Billabong, Wired, Moschcam and more, providing users a vast range of content to choose from. For music fans, Sonyโ€™s Music Unlimited is the easiest way to get access to all your favourite music. With access to a global catalogue of over 10 million songs offering everything you want, from classic hits to new releases, Music Unlimited can be accessed through BRAVIA Internet TVs, Blu-ray player, Blu-ray Home Theatre systems, and other Sony devices.

The connected world extends beyond TV channels, with an easy-to-navigate app for YouTube as well as instant access to social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter and the ability to make free widescreen skype-to-skype video calls to family and friends with the external camera and microphone (sold separately) while simultaneously watching TV.

The Sony BRAVIA HX750 series is available in New Zealand from April priced from $1299
