Skullcandy Releases Navigator Headphones

June 7, 2013

SKULLCANDY’S NEW NAVIGATOR headphone model has just been released in New Zealand and will soon be on retail shelves nationwide. The Navigator is a streamlined, compact on-ear sibling to the over-ear Aviator model (reviewed here).

Much like its predecessor, the Navigator’s styling is optics-inspired, and it’s also fitted with Skullcandy’s in-house developed and manufactured REX40 driver. The Navigator features a unified headband and hinge construction that’s said to offer increased durability along with the ability to collapse down to a small package for portability. A detachable cable with inline Mic3 functionality is supplied, allowing iPhone users to have full control of volume, pause/play, tracking, and to make and take calls through their headphones without interruption.

WDF-Skullcandy-NavigatorWe’ve had our review pair for a couple of weeks and the reviewer has indicated that these ‘phones have basically become his go-to solution for all mobile audio use. The review will be loaded soon….

The NZ RRP is  $219.
